I was walking across a wide city street with my grandfather who was quiet and mysterious, my wife's best friends 4 year old daughter whose mother reminds me of my mom, my wife, and a man I've never met. When we get to the other side the man I didn't recognize that we were walking with was arrested by the police who thought he had been a part of a recent crime. I assured them that he was not because he had been walking with us and told them I had other witnesses who could corroborate my story. When I came back to my grandfather and other family they were packing a car full of things and when I told them to help me no one was interested but instead they told me to put an owl in the trunk for them. I grabbed the owl fearing it would attack me with it's talons and stick it in a corner of the trunk as they assured me it would not squeeze itself through the opening in the trunk and enter the car where they were.

Packing the Car: This could symbolize preparation for a journey or transition, possibly involving important changes or responsibilities. The trunk may represent repressed emotions or experiences that you are trying to manage.
The Owl: Owls often symbolize wisdom, intuition, and sometimes fears. Your apprehension about the owl attacking may suggest that you are uneasy about confronting certain truths or wisdom that might feel uncomfortable or threatening. It might also indicate a struggle between your fears and the need to understand or embrace wisdom in a situation.
Protection and Responsibility: The dream explores themes of protection, where you try to protect the unfamiliar man and later take care of packing for your family. It may reflect feelings of responsibility towards loved ones.
